The program reminds the missed notification about meeting only.
So you should set the reminder for meeting (in the meeting settings) if you want to get reminded about missed meeting.

Hi Andrey, thanks for your quick reply.
The meeting is set properly with a reminder. It goes like this:
1. The phone sounds a meeting alert and shows options of Silence, Snooze, stop.
2. I don't touch anything and let the alert continue until it stops.
3. After a few minutes, the phone alert with only blinking display (without a sound).
if i disregard this, it will alert after a few min again without a sound again.
That's is why i need the T-reminder.

But in all of the above scenario, the T-reminder does not do anything. It's like it didn't
notice that the meeting is missed,

i hope you can help

Thank you.

Thanks for detailed description of the behavior of the T-Reminder.

As I understood the T-Reminder begun work from the step 3. The standart reminder (with Silence and Snooze) doesn't blink the screen but the T-Reminder does.

It seems you didn't get any sound because of it was night. The T-Reminder doesn't get any sound or vibration signal at night by default. It use the blink signal and pup-up notification only.
And I guess, you had swithed off the "notification" settings that headed you didn't saw the notification like "you have a missed event..."

So, to correct this problem you have to set the program's work time on the schedule tab. The green bars shows the time when you will get the sound notification.
Another way is to set the "ignore schedule for" setting to a sound, a vibration and a light. The default setting is the light only and this is way you get the blink signals only.

And I advice you to enable the notification setting. By using the notification you can instantly dismiss the notification about missed meeting.

Andrey Hi,
Steps 1-3 are not related to T-reminder. It was like this before i installed the T-Reminder.

However i followed your steps:

1. I set the "Schedule" to all green.
2. "Notification" was set to ON.
3. "Ignure schedule" for is set to Sound Vibras Light.

But still it is not working. No alert at all from the T-reminder.
With missed calls it works properly.

I hope you can help as my trail period is almost over.

Thanks.

Agler,

Because the step 3 is not related to the T-Reminder I can't find a exact reason of the T-Reminder's silence.

But if you provide me with the IMEI of your phone I'll send you a debug version of the program. This version writes a log file that make me possible to find the exact reason of failure.

Hi.

There is a only one alternative way. I can sent you and unsigned debug version.
You should sign it by your self and install to your phone.
But even this way you will have to give to someone the IMEI of your phone to get the developer certificate.

Unfortunately, without the log form the debug version I can't find the reason and get you a solution of the problem.

If, all the same, you'll decide to send me the IMEI of your phone use this E-Mail address: robot@FedoroffSoft.com

I also installed T-Reminder 3.5 recently on my Nokia 6710 Navigator, just because standard the mssed calendar events are not reminded.
But I have completely the same problem with T.Reminder as described. For Missed Calendar events it is not working.
It is perfectly working for 3G network detection, or for missed calls, but not for Calendar events.

Luc.

Hi, Luc.

The T-Reminder was hardly tested on different Symbian OS versions and all worked fine. I don't know the reason is heading to such problem.
As I said, the log form debug version can illuminate the problem.

Luc, may you help me to detect the problem? Please, send me an IMEI of your phone if you are agree and I'll provide you with the debug version.
I'm ready to give you a free registration key for your help.

Before going to this, I would be sure if T-Reinder helps me. Because what I awas looking for is a tool that remmds me of the "missed calendar events" but also could show me which events I missed. Events reminders can be set days, hours before the event. So it would be helpfull to see what reminders you missed, not only that there are missed reminders. Is T-Reminder in anyway doing something like that ??

Yes. The T-Reminder can do it.
1. In standart calendar reminder you should set the time before event to begin a standart notification.
2. After the standart notification ends (after 30 minutes from the notification have started) the T-Reminder begins it work.
3. T-Reminder reminds every 5 minutes. This interval can be changed in program's settings.
4. Each time you get message with a list of the first 3 missed calendar events. This because of a notification dialog have 4 line of text only and doesn't have a scroll bar.

That would be nice if T-reminder would do that,it is exactly what I was looking for, due to a lack of this function standard from Nokia. But as also Alger noted on this forum nothing of that all is happening for calendar events also on my Nokia 6710 Navigator. I have the latest version of Symbian S60 3th generation on it. Maybe it has to be 5th generation ??
I am also not ready to give you my EMEI, but why can you test it yourself as developer on these systems ? You can probably easily borrow one in your neighbourout ? Thanks for further investigation or advice.
