Hi there,

I bought T-Reminder3.5 a couple of days ago in the OVI store from Nokia. And til now I
was not able to get the missed calendar events - function to work in any way.
The online-help-site inside the app seems to be a little bit out of date because there
you can find explanations about settings NOT available in the app. Otherwise there are
settings like "Länge Veranstaltungen" where you can set options like "Ztn = Zu tun" or
"Mtlg = Mitteilung". I have absolutely no idea what purpose this is.
Other features, like coming birthdays seem to work properly. At least I believe I
understand what is going on, because I think I get what I want. :)
But for the missed calendar events I have no plan.
So I would like to ask wether it would be possible to write a "quick and dirty" little
post inside the forum where you explain the things one has to do to get good results.
Maybe with a fictional calendar entry and the settings there and in T-Reminder which
has to be done to get successful results. For example, I still havn't understood that
thing with the reminder-function of the calendar itself and the settings in T-Reminder.
I really need help.
Thanks in advance

VeeJay

Hmmm - what is that?

And now the comming birthday warning doesn't work too. A next birthday date is comming up.
Only one day left. In the settings I set the remider on 4 days before. But there is
no reminding message...

Hello.

Unfortunately, right now, there is a bug with reminding about missed calendar events.
I tend to fix them this days. I'll get you know when I finish.

About help: it might be some translation issues that headed to such obscure labels.
You can switch your phone to English language to get the help on English.
The English help is more clearly.

The "quick and dirty" text about missed calendar event functionality.
1. The T-Reminder doesn't replace standard calendar reminder, but it supplements it with extra functionality
2. The main disadvantages of the standard calendar reminder are short remind period (30 minutes only) and that you doesn't get any reminds if your phone was switched off in the time of standard reminding.
3. The T-Reminder reminds AFTER the standard reminder. So the first 30 minutes you hear the standard calendar reminder and next 24 hours the T-Reminder gets the signals.
4. Imagine, that you phone was switched off in the time when the standard reminder should reminds. When you switch on your phone the T-Reminder will find the missed events and begins to remind you about them.

About coming birthdays.
Open the T-Reminder settings. In the Birthdays line you can see how many birthdays is coming and why the T-Reminder doesn't remind about coming birthdays.
The main reason is that you pressed the "Stop remind" option last remind time.
Don't forget that the default reminding period is 6 hours and you could miss this remindings.
